2. How much vegetables do I need a day? Does this differ for frozen vegetables and fresh vegetables?

The Nutrition Centre recommends that we eat 200 grams of vegetables every day. This is the same for both fresh and frozen. Fresh vegetables, such as spinach and endive, however, tend to shrink during cooking. Therefore, instead of the daily portion of 200 grams for such vegetables, you need about 350 grams. For other fresh vegetables, you need about 200-250 grams. Frozen vegetables do not need to be cut and do not shrink, so 200 grams per person is a good estimate.
