All activities are directed by the Total Quality Management discipline and enforcement of HACCP guidelines in production, packaging, storage, freezers, distribution centers and transportation. Oerlemans Foods is also certified for its quality, by both the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and the International Food Standard (IFS).

Besides producing conventional products Oerlemans Foods also organic and biodynamic products. This is certified by Skal Oerlemans (biological products) and foundation Demeter (biodynamic products).
